Rock 'N Roll Fantasy Bad Company
Put up the spotlights One and all And let the feeling get down to your soul
Now Playing...
Hopes Go Astray Northern Pikes
It will stay 'til tomorrow And the days that will follow But it's never the same When you feel you're insane

Stop Stop Give It Up EBN OZN (Part of which is quoted in my sig.)
I don't normally do this, but this song is one I want played at my funeral. The lyrics - particularly the reference to John Lennon - mean so much to me on a visceral level. I have always credited John Lennon as the man who "raised" me for reasons too numerous to go into here. I have been to Strawberry Fields Central Park, (and that was before I knew this song existed), and it was a very humbling experience. The only 2 other places I have been that had the same effect on me were Ground Zero in NYC and the Kennedy Memorial in Dallas, Texas.
The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix references are also a great bonus.
So, I would like to share the lyrics to this masterpiece.
When your favorite tangerine dream has long died Lucy dropped the diamond You're uncertain and your spirit just whispers inside Look behind the curtain
Chorus: Stop, stop, give it up Stop, stop, give it up Give it up Stop, stop, give it up Stop, stop, give it up Give it up
When the fear has burned out your love till it's dark Breathe the golden light in And you'll fly to Strawberry Fields, Central Park The Holy Man's been writing
Repeat chorus
There are colors that none of us ever have seen The '70's' are over Now it's time for infinite shades of green Better move over, rover
Repeat chorus
Om, om, om...
