Animals past and present. I'll try to post pictures that I don't think anyone that might stop by has seen. But there will be some familiar faces obviously.
This is Travis. He is albino - not a TRUE albino, mind you. But it doesn't make him any less prone to sunburn so he is strictly an indoor-only bunny. Which is what any bunny I ever have is. =)
Unfortunately, I've been wanting another rabbit, and I wouldn't mind a guinea pig. But for now, he's the only one I have and he's my first. I did get a free rabbit for buying his cage, and my dad insisted I take the rabbit, but two males in one cage? No way! So I gave that one to my little cousin. If I had had two cages, maybe I would have kept Patches too (I didn't name him, she did). But that wasn't the case and not an affordable option.
Holly is camera-shy! No, not really. She was cleaning herself. It just turned out to be a really cute picture!
*sings*
"And you don't mess around with Jim!"
(Jim Croce...hehe.)
Mercedes and Sydney cuddling together! This one is probably the most-linked image, but to me it just never gets old. Mercedes rarely is very cuddly towards other animals, but it was a very cold day when that picture was taken.
If I didn't already have a bird named Linus (he's not mine anymore - he really didn't bond with me to the point he would become anxious even if I fed him. This was before I had cats, so I guess I don't know why he would have reacted that way.) I would have named this cat Linus. She used to carry this blanket around with her. Haha.
And yes, that's the type of carpet we're ripping up now. Icky, isn't it? It was like that if not worse with the people who lived here BEFORE... =/ Minus the pet fur everywhere. LOL.
Travis again!
Holly as a kitten. She opened up that container herself. I used to keep her toys in it. I don't know how it even held up, being that she was in the top drawer and not much was underneath it to hold it up!
Mercedes had to be held down for this picture - this is her as a kitten. At that time, she was a very active little thing and wouldn't sit still. This and the one before it and the next one are low quality because tehy were taken with a camera phone...
Lezlie and Mercedes managed to bond very well when they were little. Lezlie is the only animal that will put Mercedes in her place if she attacks her. Lezlie is nothing but a big wimp, but she's definitely a mother - firm and loving and protective. =)
To this day, we have no idea how she did this.
Also a camera phone piccie. Silly Mercenary~ (her nickname)
I caught a good picture of Mercedes before we ripped up the carpet! LMFAO.
Sydney in the backyard.
Can you tell what breed she is? We only guess.
Maybe white German Shephard, Golden Retriever, or Husky.
And when she was little it was more apparent, but she does have some greyhound traits.
Problem is, those are all BIG dogs. Her? She's medium and weighs about 42-ish lbs.
Pup mutt!
Our old family dog, Belle. She passed on a few years ago. Holly took it really hard. She sulks when you mention Belle's name, too.
LOL PAIGE BUTT.
Holly likes Red Lobster. =)
PET PUMPKIN. JK, JK. He was very messed up looking, and even worse since he's decaying in that. It was so great I had to take a picture!
She looks like she just slurped someone's brains out.
The moments that will never happen again. =(
Those two hate each other most of the time. They rarely bother to get along and no they NEVER cuddle like this.
Again, no idea how she did this...
Paige.
Paigent Agent, Pigeon, Pudge-Pudge, Pidgeon Midget, Doximoron - dog of a million nicknames, this one.
This was Christmas. He hopped up on his cage himself.
Wish I had a good scanner for multiple reasons. One being that I have one of him begging at the dinner table. LOL.
Now the three dogs are easier to um...get picture of together. Haha.
ANother reason I'd love to have a scanner is that I have a few rare pictures. One of a mouse my brother had that I loved (we never got pictures of any of the others). SHe was adorable and sweet!
I also had a few leopard geckos, but the only one I managed pictures of was Perth. Since Rogue, Enigma, and Mercy all passed away before I could ever get pictures of them.
I also have some of my cockatiel and when I was in high school, my brother had a Green Conure. =)
