My Kits

I have 5 cats and love them all. Two that were strays and I have had since they were about 4 months old, one from the Asheville Humane Society I have had about 4 years, and 2 more strays I have had about 2 years. The first 2 are bob-tailed and are brother/sister. The one from the shelter is an only child. The latter 2 are also brother/sister and I suspect they both have bengal in them. I don't have any pictures of the one that most looks like a bengal - mostly because he is still so skittish - but here are some of the others.



This is my baby girl, Dirk. She is my little snugglebug. She will climb up in my arms and lie there like a baby and sleep for hours if I let her. I really shouldn't have a favorite, but she is.



This is Essie. She is one of the latter strays and very sweet. She is still a bit skittish, but if you catch her in her "safe spot", she is very loving. Otherwise, she is still a bit skittish. I think she and Tiger, (her brother), may have been abused in their past and still retain some memory of it.



This is Lerxst. It is the best picture I have of him right now. (My last computer with better photos melted down on me. ) He has a thing for electronics...he loves to lie down on top of them. Anything. The computers, remotes, the TV...it is amazing.



This is the best one I have of Stella. She and Essie look a lot alike. The main differences are that Stella has more gold markings while Essies' are more silver. Also, Essies' tail is fluffy while Stellas' is kind of flat.

I wouldn't trade any of them for the world!

I only have one cat, But I thought I'd show him off. We got him by accident. He would come to our patio door and stare in the window untill someone looked at him, then he would meow. He looked so cute. So I let him in. He went to the sofa and fell fast asleep. He really had the snots, it was running out of his nose. Anyway we aquired the cat after finding out his rightful owner. She was moving away and said that we could have him. His name is Prince, and he is 3 years old, still a little kitty. I've never known a cat to like humans so much! In the morning he will come under the bed covers and snuggle up to you and fall asleep. The cutiest sight was when I walked in to my parents bedroom and instead of seeing two heads I saw three Prince was in the middle with his head on the pillow, with his paws on my father.

Anyway here is Prince in all his glory.
I tried to keep the images as low as I could so they should load quickly, hopefully.

Awwwww, what a cutie! That pic with the bubble is absolutely priceless. Cats really aren't as aloof as people think they are. I have 2, (Dirk and Stella), cuddled up with me rght now, actually. The other 3 are in the same room, but scattered on different pieces of furniture.

Here is Tiger. He is a bit shy. ;D I took this with my camera phone and my finger somehow found its' way in the picture. As soon as I took this, the sound scared him and he ran off.

He is cute you just want to pick him up and cuddle him.

I wish I could. He has been in this house almost 3 years and has only sat on my lap twice. He is so skittish, the least little thing will terrify him. He has his "safe spots" where he will let you pet him, but outside of those you can't get near him.

I especially love the last picture of Prince. He has a look that says, "I wasn't going to tear this up, I was just guarding it for you. Yeah, that's it, guarding it."

Well I already know I love everyone's animals. xD
I always enjoy looking at them again, of course. =)
