One day when I was cleaning out the litter boxes, I noticed this little guy hanging off the side of the house. He/she didn't move. At first I thought it might be dead, but after posing for a few pictures it started moving around. The only other time I have seen a bat up close was at a store I worked at a few years ago. A bat flew in and it took our maintenance guy about 45 minutes to get it out. (The bat was not harmed. The guy grabbed him with a towel and let him out the door.) I remember seeing bats flying around my grandmothers' house in Virginia, but had never seen one here.
