This is my very favorite Pink Floyd tune of all time. The video itself is from some video game. I don't know which one though. Enjoy the music.

Nice. I'm not a Pink Flloyd fan, but I kind of like this one.
The game is one of the Final Fantasy ones by the way. I recognise the guy in the red. I'd say it's probably Dirge of Cerebus from the PS2, though I may be wrong. I've never played it. Definitely Final Fantasy though.
Edit: Spoke too soon. I saw FFX in there too. Mix! xD

Thank you, Kisrah. I haven't played any kind of RPG since Dragon Warrior on a real old version of either Atari or Nintendo. (I forget which.) Your character walked around on a grid and the screen would black out for the fight scenes. It would give you the outcome in some kind of dialogue box. I loved that game.

Oh you spotted me! >.< I need to hide better...
Ah I don't know that one. Trecaa might if it was Atari. A lot of RPGs still follow that basic format actually.
On the subject of Pink Floyd, there was another track someone introduced me to... I'll have to try tracking it down. I know it was on YouTube. The intro was really haunting. Haha! Not much to go on I guess, but any ideas? xD

Hmmmm....really haunting. That could be just about any!
Maybe Shine On You Crazy Diamond? Most people that don't like Floyd like that song.
Here is a live version. Maybe this will ring a bell.

No that's not it. But I see what you mean. And I was just listening to the original Comfortably Numb too. Pretty weird. First version I heard of that was actually a cover by the Scissor Sisters.
I know it's on YouTube somewhere! I'll keep digging. ^.^

Ah I see. That series is still going on now, but under the name Dragon Quest.
Well I had no luck finding that song! ._. I know it was a live concert, most likely the 2005 Live 8 performance in London, from what I've seen in other videos from that performance. The stage is the same. But I've been through as many as I can find, and no joy. I guess it got removed. :/

Hmmm, I looked at the Live 8 set list and it seems that "Money," "Wish You Were Here," and "Comfortably Numb" were ruled out, so that only leaves "Speak To Me/Breathe".
And boy, did I sob like a little baby all during Live 8. If Waters and Gilmour could put their differences aside - even for one night - then anything is possible.

Oh yeah I saw the set list on a Wikipedia article. I was hoping I would recognise the song title in there, but I'm not sure the name of the song was ever mentioned on the video, or the description for it. I'm SURE it was that concert, because I remember the lit up "No more excuses" banner. ... WELL CRAP! I'm typing this as I listen to that video, and I tried this one before, but I didn't let it run far enough. 1:13 into the track... THAT'S THE ONE! Gosh I'm stupid! xD Thanks for finding it. That was driving me nuts! I should be able to find the live performance of it now. I'll post it if I do. It's a beautiful tune. Oh? Artistic differences? *knows... nothing about Pink Floyd ^^;* Edit: Found it! uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lvkPKyMswUo

A lot of their problems was that Roger Waters, (presumably, I only know what David Gilmour has to say in this interview... www.pinkfloyd-co.com/band/interviews/djg/djg92.html ), was a bit of a megalomaniac and belittled the rest of the band to the point they lost confidence in themselves. They argued over the Pink Floyd name after Roger left, but David won that one. This, basically, is the crux of it all. The group's differences revolved around Water's insistence that he was Floyd's creative force and Gilmour's equally stony insistence that he was the superior musician. The dispute ended very badly. Waters called Floyd's first album without him "a despicable forgery". Gilmour responded that Waters was "extremely arrogant". (Source www.guardian.co.uk/music/2005/jun/17/live8.popandrock ) It is a shame, but I think they have effectively buried the hatchet. In a recent David Gilmour special, (Can't think of the title at the moment, but it focused on his On An Island tour), he went to visit Roger at a nearby rehearsel space. It was moving to see that.
