Welcome to the EBN OZN discussion board and I hope everyone will feel at home here.
I am not really one that is much for rules, but there are a few guidelines I ask that be followed.
I don't want to come across as a hardass, but I have immense respect for these 2 incredible musicians and want this board to be treated as if Mr Ozn or a member of Mr Libens' family are looking in. I want them to be proud of what we are building here and that Mr Libens' memory is honored.

I am not really one that is much for rules, but there are a few guidelines I ask that be followed.
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect. Flaming others will not be tolerated here. Debate is always welcome as long as it is done in a respectful manner.
- I ask that Robert Ozn and Ned Libens' privacy be respected at all times. No, I do not know nor have I ever known either one personally, I am just a fan. But I believe that the only people that are permitted to share any personal information are Robert Ozn or any member of Ned Libens' family, no one else. I have also restricted use of Robert Ozn's name, (Ozn and Rosen), and Ned Libens' name as screen names. Again, the only person that should use the Ozn, (or Rosen), name is Mr Ozn himself. Please respect this.
- On a similar tack, any information that is shared about either Robert Ozn or Ned Liben must be available on the web and references/links must be included. Quotes from websites, (properly credited and linked), are also permitted. This board has not been endorsed by Robert Ozn or any of his representatives, nor has it been endorsed by any representative of Ned Liben and I want to stay on the accurate side of things.
- On yet another similar tack, I ask that gossip about any entertainer be left at the door. When it comes to music, movies and such, I want serious discussion about it all. I really don't give a flying fuck that so-and-so divorced so-and-so and then married so-and-so and ran off to Asia to adopt all the dogs and kids they could or some such nonsense. I consider that kind of thing to be in the realm of an entertainers' personal life, and that really isn't up for discussion as far as I am concerned. There are plenty of other places for gossip, but this isn't one of them. If you want to discuss the problems that were encountered during the filming of your favorite movie or how an author based a book on their personal life, that is fine. Maybe you read a really good (Auto)Biography that you want to share. That is fine as long as the facts about that persons' life come from that and - as always - can be verified with web sites, links, etc. Accuracy is the key word here. I think of it this way - If someone was writing things about you, what would you prefer? Wild rumors and hearsay or fact? Please keep this in mind.
- I have no word filters. Cussing is not taboo here unless it is used to insult others. All language will be judged by context.
- I am not a real stickler when it comes to things like double posting or anything like that. However, there is one practice I am not a real fan of, and that is hyperposting. That is posting the same thing several times in a row for the sole purpose of building post count. I really don't want to see an entire page of posts that say nothing but "Post" or something similar. Any such posts will be deleted, no questions asked, no discussion. The one thread that is the exception to this rule is the What Are You Listening To? thread. Run wild and have fun! I know firsthand that people have the ability to listen to the same song over and over and over and over.....(I did NOT do that with "Pop Art Bop" by EBN OZN for nearly a full week! Who said I did?
) - I am not averse to discussions of religion and politics. The General Discussion board may be used for this. However, keep it civil as pursuant to the first guideline, absolutely no flaming of others for their beliefs or disbeliefs. Just because you may think that the Flying Spaghetti Monster isn't real, it doesn't mean others don't. You can ridicule the Flying Spaghetti Monster all you want, but don't ridicule Timmy for believing in it.
- No chatspeak! Please use plain English. It is annoying to have to read "U r a gud person and b4 u say u rnt....." It doesn't take any longer to type things out properly, not to mention chatspeak is sometimes very hard to figure out. I am not talking about common abbreviations, but things like the example above. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
