What a great movie. Co-written by Robert Ozn and Colin Green, directed by Rowdy Herrington. This is a very strong statement on how human rights are so fragile and how they can be so easily manipulated. No matter how anyone feels about NAFTA or illegal immigration, no one can argue that any worker should be treated less than human. Check it out and let us know what you think.

OK, something that has been kind of running around in my head has me really curious. There are a couple of lines in the movie that have me wondering if there was some subtle referencing to the song Kuchenga Pamoja. The first time that Jim Rhodes meets Enrique Gomez Jr, Gomez says, "Forgive me, I didn't get my dinner." The lyric that comes to mind is, "The little brave ants' climb is finished/He's home now at the top/Eating up his dinner..." Just the way that Gomez says the line sounds a little suspiciously like the way the word dinner is emphasized in the song. In another scene, Rhodes is on a payphone and talking to a woman at the San Diego police department. He is telling her about the fact that 2 American teens have gone missing in Mexico at the same time that the 27 bodies were discovered in a collapsed tunnel and that there could be a connection. She says that it could be a coincidence, to which Rhodes replies, "Coincidences make me nervous." The line in Kuchenga Pamoja that comes to mind? The sky grows dark/The lightning makes him nervous. Again, it is the way that the word "nervous" is emphasized in both the dialogue and the song are very similar. Just an observation!

I was watching "I Witness" today, and Lerxsty was watching, fascinated with it. I was hoping the scene would show up in the picture, but it didn't.
