Will And Grace is so funny. Jack and Karen really made the show.
One of my all time favorite episodes was when Jack and Will took Karens' mother-in-law to the gay club and she freaked when she learned what it was. The scene of her blowing the whistle and everyone doing "raise the roof", (or whatever that is called, I am not sure), had me in tears it was so hysterical.
Trecca, do you like Coupling? That one makes me bust a rib it is so funny. They tried to Americanize it, but it was awful. You can't beat the cast of the original.

I've heard of it but I don't think I have ever seen it, I may have to investigate this further.
I agree Jack and Karen are the best. I liked the last episode where everyone had aged apart from Karen. I am quite a sad fan really. I have all of their seasons on DVD 1-8! and I managed to watch a whole series in a day and a half. And I had to work a fill shift in the day so I only watched them at night. I am a very sad person indeed.

Coupling is - what I like to refer as - a raunchier version of Seinfeld. (And I just read on Wikipedia that creator Steven Moffat said that Seinfeld was indeed an influence.) The Wikipedia link refuses to work, so check it out on IMDB. www.imdb.com/title/tt0237123/The show relies heavily on language for its' comedy, and it works brilliantly. One of the very best episodes was when Jeff (played by Richard Coyle) meets a girl in the bar that they all hang out at who is from Israel. She speaks no English and he speaks no Hebrew, yet they somehow manage to communicate.....or so you think. Later, they reverse the conversation to where she speaks no Hebrew and Jeff speaks no English, and you find that the conversation isn't quite what Jeff thought it was, much to his regret. BBC America still shows it once a week and I never miss it. I have seen all 4 seasons, (or series, as they call it across the pond), several times and it never gets old. To enjoy some quotes from the show, check out this link. www.richardcoyle.freeola.com/JEFF%20PLUS/jeffquotes.html

Oh, and I am also sad about Will And Grace ending, but they did it well. I was glad Vince and Will ended up together. Vince is a sweetie. I also liked how they had their kids meet the same way that Will and Grace did. (Although it seemed to me that the story of them first meeting changed an awful lot.) I also loved it when John Cleese was on. He is so brilliant it is scary. (But then again, I am a Monty Python and Fawlty Towers fanatic. )

I like Fawlty towers I had both season on DVD, but I think I may have sold it. I liked how the episodes started off normal and then as they progress through it just gets crazy!

I also love how the letters on the marquee would be changed around at the start. "Watery Fowls" is the main one that sticks in my mind.

I think Cybil (may have spelt that wrong) should have at least once tried to understand her husband. Seeing his point of view and then lead him to a more sensible conclusion.

Not sure on the spelling of her name, either. She was a bit of a harpy, eh? LOL
Manuel was my favorite. Poor guy, how he suffered at the hands of Basil.

I don't watch much TV, but I love some of the older shows. Very few modern ones. ^^; House is my favourite present day TV show. It's intriguing stuff, a bit squeamish, and has great humour. Red Dwarf is another I like. The Cat is hilarious. He gets the best lines. ^-^ Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). The ORIGINAL series with Kenneth Cope and Mike Pratt. Reeves and Mortimer made their own series of it, but they completely ruined a great series IMO. New stories thankfully, but still. I think it sucked. D: I could name a load of shows I loved as a kid, but then I'd have a long list! x3

Never seen House, but I do adore Hugh Laurie. He is so funny and so versatile.
My Mom loves Red Dwarf. It is probably her favorite show.
I have never heard of that Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) one, but I know I have heard of something with a very similar title. I'll be racking my brain all night trying to think of it now. I think it is a movie though.
Kisrah or trecaa, many years ago there was a sitcom from Britain that was about a female American author and her English Butler. It was so funny. I was just wondering if either of you are familiar with it? I want to say it was called The Eagle And The Dragon, but I can't remember. The only episode I remember is she was remodeling her kitchen and picked these truly hideous wall tiles. (Or maybe the butler picked them, I don't remember.) I can't remember when it was run, but I want to say maybe early to mid-eighties. I think I was in high school when it was run, which would put it from about 83 - 86. I only saw maybe 2 or 3 of them. Ugh, my memory sucks!

You'd probably like House then. Hugh Laurie plays the role so well. The dry wit is fantastic, and the medical side of things is interesting too. I'll see if I can find some good clips on YouTube for you. Good luck remembering that! I don't know of one. >.< Hmm. Well I don't remember it myself, although the name is familiar, but after searching I came across something that fits your description. It's called Two's Company. Possible it was called something else in the US, though I can't find anything to suggest this was the case.
