Written by Steven R Cross, this is one of the best biographies I have ever read. Jimi Hendrix is revealed in a way that makes him completely human. It sheds a lot of light on the lyrics and the man that wrote them. I didn't realize how much he had written about his mother.
His was a sad life. I wouldn't trade my life for a single day of his.
I highly recommend this book. You will learn a lot.
